For a while I have been gradually improving the amount of time, I spend on networking and pitching Wruum, and I must say it had been time well spent.
I’m the kind of guy who likes to have my hands in the nitty-gritty and keeping stealthy until having things really, really ready, but I recently reached the point where I realized that I needed to flip the coin and get out of the office more and do some networking.
But it’s certainly not an easy choice going fairly public, when you have something which you think may be very disruptive. It’s far easier going stealthy, but it won’t get you very far in terms of connecting with inspiring and likeminded people. And as far as having to NDA everything, I think that sucks about as much as any unneeded bureaucracy.
The ride of more openness has been inspiring so far, and we have gotten a lot of positive feedback and constructive criticism on Wruum, which really proves to me and the team that as far as our strategy goes, we’re on the right track.
Quite a few things are happening with Wruum in these days, and I’m actually currently in the train, heading home from Copenhagen after an evening full of entrepreneurship and perspectives in the company of the guys and gals from SCALEit.
And if things work out the way we hope, we’ll soon be having an informal chat with a major car manufacturer, which I’m really hoping will materialize.
So guys, I’m tired after a long and good day, and even though the just-purchased Queen album does it best of entrancing my brain with ever so good tunes, I’ll venture into sleepyland very soon… and hopefully still manage to get off the train at the right stop.
Ah, now it’s time to get back to work after a nice summer holiday, and what better way to start off than to launch an improved website with a little more social media integration?
We hope that you’ll like it, and we look forward to posting regular news updates about our work.
