Concept

Wruum is a project started and maintained by the company OhNoWire ApS (and in collaboration with Translucent ApS) with the purpose of providing a series of innovative and ecosocial offerings to motorists, environmentalists, green-techies – and the rest of the us.

The car is pretty much a black box for most people, which is sad as there’s a lot of valuable information in the car that never reaches the motorist behind the wheel – or does do in a way that truly benefits the motorist.

Wruum is all about making that information accessible to the motorist so that the motorist may use it for various purposes; e.g. optimizing the way one drives to be more fuel efficient and thus more green, comparing actual mileage of the car to theoretic mileage etc.

And Wruum is also about making that data available in a broader perspective for other uses – commercial and for the good of society in general: for traffic planning purposes, analyzing driving patterns, analyzing patterns of pollution in cities etc.

At Wruum we’re pursuing this vision by building things ourselves: building working prototypes of both the hardware and software needed so that we can prove to ourselves and others that it is viable.

And we do a lot of brainstorming and concept development so as to uncover the potential uses of the data and information with benefit to the motorist, Wruum and everyone else.

Everything else

Wruum is located in city of Aarhus in Denmark (Scandinavia), and we share offices with OhNoWire ApS and Translucent ApS.

We put our emphasis on things being as usable and intuitive as possible and with as much no-fuss approach to interface design as possible (please excuse our current site design – we are continuously trying to boot our graphic artist ).

We’re looking for seed capital and thus investors.
